MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - As Super Bowl 52 nears, Patriots and Eagles fans are making their way to the land of the Minnesota Vikings.
Eagles fans Steve DeWolf and his brother drove to Minnesota from Philly. The road trip took them nearly 19 hours.
“We’re running on adrenaline,” said DeWolf. “Our fumes are burning out a little bit. We might need to catch a nap soon, but we want to enjoy everything. This is awesome.”
At the Mall of America, media from around the world have taken over the north end. Thousands of fans pack the halls around Radio Row to take in the football frenzy.
“I’m overwhelmed, let’s put it that way,” said Tim McIntosh, a Patriots fan.
“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime deal, when the opportunity arises, everyone needs to take advantage of that,” said Dan Hood, a Patriots fan.
On Nicollet Mall, festivities begin to draw in large crowds as everyone eagerly awaits the big game that is now just two days away.
