(KMSP) - The Oakland Zoo has adopted a black bear and her four cubs.
Last week, the family broke into a home, and swiped at the owner, causing minor injuries to her arm.
The bears were deemed not suitable to be released into the wild, so the zoo offered to take them in.
In this video, zoo keepers put out a pile of ice for the family to enjoy in the summer heat.
