MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) — Former Twin Cities sports radio personality Jeff Dubay has been sentenced to jail and probation in a methamphetamine case.
Washington County District Judge Susan Miles sentenced the 48-year-old on Friday to 180 days in jail and 10 years of probation. He also must complete a drug treatment program and pay a $50 fine.
Cottage Grove police stopped Dubay in April for speeding. They found two hypodermic needles in his pocket, 31 used needles in a bag on the front seat and a piece of paper with a small amount of meth on it.
Dubay was a batboy for the Twins and was co-host on KFAN. He was fired after he was arrested in 2008 for cocaine possession.
