Light the Night - how LLS is taking on AML, the deadliest of blood cancers
The Morning Buzz is partnering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise awareness to help cure blood cancers. A big mission right now is to find new treatments for the most deadly, Acute Myeloid Leukemia or AML. The Buzz got a chance to speak with LLS's Dr. Amy Burd about the new research underway and also Terri Oakes, who's family experienced the disease firsthand.
