Portillo's to open 2nd location in Twin Cities
MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (KMSP) - Portillo’s, the fast-casual restaurant known for its Chicago-style food, is opening its second location in the Twin Cities in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
The restaurant chain opened its first Minnesota location in Woodbury last week. Portillo’s has more than 50 locations throughout the country, but opened its first Minnesota location in Woodbury last week. Lines were out the door for customers who want to try the infamous Chicago-style dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and chocolate cake.
The Maple Grove restaurant will be located at 12251 Elm Creek Blvd. N. It will include seating for more than 200 patrons, a seasonal outdoor patio and a double-lane drive-thru.
Portillo’s has not said when its new location will be open.
