Legendary "The Price is Right" host Bob Barker will match up to $50,000 of every dollar donated to the Wildcat Sanctuary until Aug. 31, the Minnesota-based nonprofit announced Wednesday.

Barker is well known for being an animal advocate, ending every episode of "The Price is Right" saying, "Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered.”

According to a press release, the Sanctuary needs to raise over $100,000 to build a temperature-controlled animal building for up to 13 tigers, cougars, lynx and bobcats before winter.

This is the first grant that The Wildcat Sanctuary has received from Barker.

"We're so honored to receive such a special gift from a person who does so much for animals," said Wildcat Sanctuary Director Tammy Thies. "His support is humbling and will benefit so many rescued big cats as well as inspire others to help."

Donations can be made at WildcatSanctuary.org or by calling 320-245-6871.
