Holidazzle kicked off its second year at Loring Park in Minneapolis on Friday. The annual winter festival features food, shopping and entertainment that organizers say has expanded for the 2016 season.

“We have added a kid zone this year, we have doubled our footprint and size in the number of heated spaces we have here as well,” said Leah Wong with the Minneapolis Downtown Council.

A mild forecast for the end of November should equal strong crowds. For many in Minneapolis, Holidazzle is a holiday tradition.

“I live downtown right across the street in Loring Way, so it’s been a long time tradition,” said one attendee.

Holidazzle will run through Dec. 23.
