HELP ID: Suspect involved in several armed robberies throughout metro

(KMSP) - The Anoka County sheriff's office is asking for help identifying a suspect after an armed robbery at Subway in Ramsey, Minnesota.

Around 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to Subway on St. Francis Boulevard NW on a report of an armed robbery in progress. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

About an hour later, officers were dispatched to another armed robbery at the Go For It gas station at 8724 East River Road NW in Coon Rapids. Investigators discovered that the same suspect committed both robberies, along with several other robberies throughout the metro.

The suspect is described as a medium-skin black male in his 20s with a thin build and a mustache/goatee.
