Fall colors peaking in the metro
KMSP - After much anticipation, fall colors are starting to peak around the metro. This comes in a solid 10 days to 2 weeks behind schedule, mostly because of a warm and wet September and first part of October. But we have seen a pretty good run of color statewide this year thanks to that very cool August, so trees have been showing color since before Labor Day. Peak color usually lasts for about 10 days and all will likely be winding down by Halloween so get out and enjoy!
