State Patrol seeks witnesses to fatal crash that killed 19-month-old boy

WAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KMSP) - The Minnesota State Patrol is asking anyone who may have witnessed a fatal crash on Highway 23 and County Road 71 in Stearns County last Saturday to come forward.

The crash took place around 2:34 p.m. A Volvo tractor truck struck a Dodge Caravan at the intersection of Highway 23 and County Road 71 in Wakefield Township.

A 19-month-old Cold Spring boy in the Dodge Caravan was killed in the crash. The 23-year-old driver of the Dodge Caravan suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
