Memorial honors fallen Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick

(KMSP) - On Monday, community members in Mendota Heights, Minnesota unveiled a memorial in honor of fallen officer Scott Patrick, who was killed in the line of duty four years ago.

Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick was killed while making a traffic stop in the early afternoon of July 30, 2014 in West St. Paul.

To commemorate the anniversary of his death, the Mendota Heights Police Officers Benevolence Association and city officials held a dedication ceremony where a permanent memorial was revealed in his honor. You can find the memorial in Market Square Park at the intersection of Market and Main Street in Mendota Heights.
