Criminal defense attorney shares his thoughts on the upcoming Mohamed Noor trial

Friday morning, the trial for Mohamed Noor will continue at the Federal Courthouse in Minneapolis, so Thursday, Fox 9's Paul Blume sat down with Criminal Defense Attorney Michael Bryant to discuss what's next in the high profile case.

Noor is charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the July 15, 2017, death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond, a 40-year-old life coach who was engaged to be married. She was killed after calling 911 to report a possible sexual assault.

Thursday night, Bryant visited Fox 9 to talk about the criminal and civil trials surrounding the case after prosecutors released new evidence regarding Noor's record, citing red flags in the hiring process and a previous traffic stop where things escalated quickly.

In the discussion, Bryant gave insights into what the judges will have to determine about the evidence before allowing it to be shown to the jury.
