April blizzard drops more than a foot of snow in parts of the metro

The weekend blizzard brought nearly a foot of snow - and in some cases more - to the Twin Cities metro area and the southwestern part of Minnesota.

By late Saturday, northeast Minneapolis reported 15.5", with many metro areas reporting about a foot of snow.

SNOW TOTALS:

Victoria: 16.6"

St. Anthony: 14"

West St. Paul: 13.8"

MSP Airport: 11.1"

Plymouth: 13"

White Bear Lake: 11"

ROAD CONDITIONS: According to the Minnesota State Patrol, between Friday and Sunday morning there were 405 crashes (51 with injury) with 911 spinouts and 17 jackknifed semis.
