MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (KMSP) - A semi on fire closed several lanes of westbound Interstate 94 in Maplewood, Minnesota, early Monday morning.
The semi became fully engulfed around 6:26 a.m. on the freeway near the exit for Highway 120/Century Avenue. The fire closed all lanes for a short time, but the left lane has since reopened.
The Minnesota State Patrol is encouraging drivers to find alternative routes. The crash is expected to take approximately four hours to clear.
