Even Minnesota Wild fans were cheering on the Vikings from the Xcel Energy Center, erupting with excitement as they discovered their Vikings were headed to the NFC championship game next week in Philadelphia.
Just moments after making the catch, Diggs was met in the locker room with an impromptu shower via waterbottle and a hug from Keenum, who was still in shock himself. It was a touching moment for a team that will get another chance at glory just seven days from now.
Watching at home, some fans couldn't contain their excitement as dreams became reality, running outside and startling the neighbors or jumping out of their seats as Diggs crossed into the endzone. It was a fairytale ending for a team whose fans have come to wear playoff heartbreak on their sleeve.
