Two people died in a house fire Sunday night in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

The fire started at a home on Royal Avenue in the Skyline Village mobile home park at approximately 9 p.m. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the building was filled with heavy smoke and flames were shooting from the home.

Firefighters used a thermal-imaging camera to determine that two people were inside. First responders were able to remove one of the victims, but they were not able to immediately remove the second victim from the home because the fire was too intense.

As soon as firefighters were able to get the flames under control, they recovered the second victim.

The two victims, one man and one woman, were rushed to the hospital, but did not survive. They have been identified as Tiffany Meyers, 32, and David L'heureux, 33.

The Minnesota State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
