Truck fire closes Highway 169 in Edina

A truck fire stopped traffic on Highway 169 in Edina, Minn. Friday morning. 

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Minnesota Department of Transportation truck caught fire just before 10:00 a.m. The driver pulled over to the shoulder and along with a passenger escaped the truck. Both were uninjured. 

Though traffic is moving now, 169 was closed down for about 30 minutes while crews worked to put out the fire.
