Woman dies in rollover crash on I-35W at Burnsville Parkway

(KMSP) - Officers with the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a rollover crash around 7:22 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 35W south at Burnsville Parkway.

According to state patrol, a Ford Fusion was going south on I-35W, went off the road to the right, hit the sound wall and came to rest in the ditch. A 19-year-old Burnsville woman, Kayli Thompson, died in the crash.

The driver, a 20-year-old man from Prior Lake, Minnesota, sustained non-life threatening injuries. He was not under the influence of alcohol, and he was wearing a seat belt.
