SNOW TOTALS: March storm hits during evening commute
(KMSP) - As the winter storm hit the metro area Monday afternoon, many residents were anxiously navigating the evening commute.
Snow totals ranged from 4 inches in Coon Rapids to 8.6 inches in Willmar, and the Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until Tuesday at 6 a.m.
As of 8:30 p.m., there were 260 crashes statewide, 36 with injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. There were also 434 vehicle spin outs/off road and 17 jackknifed semis.
