'Lightweight' football players prove they're worth the weight

The best sports teams have athletes who know the game is bigger than they are.

That's certainly true in Elk River, Minnesota, where winning came easy when the kids believed in themselves and worked together.

In Elk River, the middle school football league splits up players onto teams depending on weight. Players weighing more than 120 pounds are on the heavyweights and players weighing less are lightweights. That divide can sometimes be a little bit bruising to the ego. But one team is proving through their skills, they're worth every ounce.
