The Minnesota Gophers Men's Basketball team is pitching in to help victims of Hurricane Florence after the storm ripped through the east coast.

Head Coach of North Carolina State Basketball, Kevin Keats, posted to Twitter Wednesday asking coaching peers to donate after partnering with United Way North Carolina.

Keats wrote that the most needed items are socks, T-shirts and hats. So, Minnesota Gophers Men's Basketball Coach Richard Pitino posted photos of the boxes the team is sending out to North Carolina.

According to reports, at least 44 people have died since the hurricane slammed into the coast last week. North and South Carolina remain plagued by flooding.
