Minneapolis Mayor Frey braves zipline for Super Bowl

High-flying Super Bowl fun is officially up and running with the opening of the Bold North Zipline.

Friday afternoon, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, along with Viktor the Vikings and former Viking Chad Greenway, took the first rides on the zipline across the Mississippi River.

"One of the best parts of the Super Bowl right now, we're flying across the Mississippi River on a zipline," said Frey.

The zipline, located on Nicollet Island, is just one of the many attractions fans can visit during over the next 10 days as part of the Super Bowl festivities.

But if you're looking to ride the zipline yourself, you may be out of luck. All 10,000 tickets sold out earlier this month.
