Minneapolis firefighters deliver Thanksgiving meals

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Members of the Minneapolis Fire Department and Hennepin EMS started off their Thanksgiving mornings by giving back.

Responders packed their fire trucks and ambulances with holiday meals to deliver to families in need.

"The residents of Minneapolis are kind of our family and friends and on a Thanksgiving Day like this, it's nice to be able to provide some food for some people who otherwise may not have it, " said Minneapolis Fire Captain Trebil.

The dinners were provided by Thanksgiving Meals on Wheels.
