Man arrested in ND after fatal shooting near St. Cloud, Minn.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KMSP) - Police arrested a man on murder charges Sunday after an extended chase through North Dakota, the entire incident stemming from a gunshot victim that showed up at a St. Cloud hospital Saturday and died soon after.
Investigators later determined the shooting took place at an apartment at 460 Park Meadows Drive in Waite Park, Minn.
Officers identified the suspect as 20-year-old Desmond Omandy Barzey, who was located driving a potentially stolen car with no license plates through Bismark, North Dakota, around 1 a.m. Sunday. After a police chase and subsequent crash, officers were able to bring the suspect into custody.
Barzey is currently still in custody in North Dakota awaiting extradition to Minnesota.
