Holidazzle's lights, activities and spirit return to Loring Park

The Minneapolis Holidazzle ceremony was a little more drizzle than dazzle Friday with some rainy weather, but that didn’t stop people from getting ready for the holiday season.

Those Thanksgiving leftovers aren’t even gone and already Christmas time is here.

Fortunately, there are some indoor options at Holidazzle, like an indoor market and beer garden, but for those that weren’t shying away from a little water, there was plenty to do.

Holidazzle is now in its fourth year at Loring Park, with this year’s event bringing back some crowd favorites like the skating rink and tons of local vendors.

Some new features like a Sunday brunch, Friday night s’mores and rafts and records in the Fulton beer tent are also open to festival-goers.

Holidazzle has it all. Whether you want to meet Santa, get some Christmas shopping done or go on a sleigh ride, all your Christmas-themed excitement can be found at Loring Park.

You can also ride bikes, swing and become part of some amazing art done by local artists.

Friday was the first night and it goes every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Dec. 23.

Holidazzle has also partnered with Metro Transit so people can ride for free to and from the event.
