There have been reports of a man with a gun at Eden Prairie Center.

Eden Prairie Center was on lockdown for nearly an hour Tuesday afternoon after a man walked into Scheels carrying a gun case.

According to Eden Prairie Police, the man walked into Scheels with the gun case intending to get his firearm serviced. When he was told there were no gun services at that Scheels location, the man left the mall.

The mall was put on lockdown shortly after 12:08 p.m. when police first received a report of a person with a weapon inside the shopping center. The lockdown was lifted at approximately 1 p.m.
