Crews put out arson fire at tire shop across from St. Paul Fire Department

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - Firefighters in St. Paul didn’t have to go far to put out a fire at a local tire shop.

Officials say someone intentionally set a fire at Pay Less Tires on University Avenue West Sunday while the business was closed around 6:15 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say surveillance video captured images of the suspect, who had vandalized vehicles at the property recently, too.

The tire shop was almost directly across the street from one of St. Paul’s fire stations.
