Crazy snow in Colorado

So you thought the weather was bad in Minnesota this week… just look at what you would have to deal with in Colorado.  While the Denver metro was spared from some of the heaviest snow, the foothills and mountains just west of the city received more than 3 feet of snow in just 48 hours to round out the workweek.  Boulder, which is on the northwest side of town and home to the University of Colorado, received as much as 10” of snow Thursday with parts of Denver proper getting up to 5”
