CRASH TOTALS: Snowy Wednesday makes for messy commute

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Flurries on the commute home Wednesday evening created a mess on the roads.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, statewide from noon to 9:45 p.m. there were 379 crashes. While none of the crashes were fatal, 33 of the crashes reported injuries. 

There were also 95 reports of vehicles that spun out or went off the road and seven jackknifed semis.

The snow also caused delays with Metro Transit. At one point during the evening, officials reported 65 percent of the buses were delayed on average by 22 minutes.
