According to FSN, there will be no more "circle me, Bert" this coming season at Target Field.

Former MLB pitcher Bert Blyleven took to Twitter to make the announcement, also writing that they are also discontinuing the Minnesota State Lottery Winners this season.

The "Circle Me, Bert," tradition started more than a decade ago when Bert would "circle" a fan when they appeared on the TV screen. Since then, it's grown its own fandom, with people holding signs reading "Circle Me, Bert," and even shouting it to him on the street.

Instead, FSN is rolling out a new "Winners Circle" concept in conjunction with the Minnesota Lottery.

Statement from Fox Sports North:

"We’re rolling out a new “Winners Circle” concept this season in conjunction with the Minnesota Lottery. Fans are still encouraged to bring signs to Target Field for consideration, but now we’re expanding the idea so fans at the ballpark and watching at home can get involved. We will highlight birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, etc. Fan submissions, with photo, will be collected via FOXsportsnorth.com. This new concept should be a fun broadcast element for Bert and all of our analysts in the booth this season."
