Authorities are investigating after a large fire destroyed a trucking facility Monday in St. Paul Park, Minnesota.

According to the Newport Fire Department, authorities responded to the fire at 4:20 p.m. at Quade and Sons in the 200 block of Hastings Avenue.

Officials say there were about six trucks inside at the time, and the building is a total loss. Other trucks near the facility were also damaged. No one was injured in the fire.

Nearly 50 firefighters from five different agencies responded to the scene.

MnDOT reported that the flames became a distraction for drivers, increasing traffic on Highway 61 at Glen Road.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
