Anoka County officer catches muskrat on football field

An officer from the Anoka County sheriff's office made a memorable stop during the Friday night football game between Andover and Rogers high schools when a muskrat entered the field.

Reserve Officer Matt Saldana was working security at the game when he came to the rescue, chasing the muskrat from the 30 yard line and removing it from the field. Saldana sustained a few bites from the animal, but has recovered.

The officer returned the muskrat to its home in a nearby wooded area.
