Alexandria PD searching for vehicle believed near fatal pedestrian crash scene

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (KMSP) - Alexandria police are asking the public's help to identify the driver or owner of a vehicle they believe was near the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash Monday night.
Around 10:30 p.m., a vehicle fatally struck 26-year-old Travis Pennig of Alexandria on 34th Avenue East near the Meadowland Mobile Home Park.
Any driver who may have been in the area at that time or can identify the vehicle from the photos is asked to contact Alexandria police at (320)763-6631.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
