3 found dead inside home in Chetek, Wis.

Police are investigating after three people were found dead in a home Friday night in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Around 9 p.m., the Barron County sheriff’s department received a report from a woman requesting help at 611 26th Street.  

Sheriff's deputies and Chetek Police responded to the scene where they discovered three deceased individuals inside. They have been identified as John Hengst, 55, Brenda Turner, 55, and Natalie Turner 17. 

Initial investigation shows that all three people in the house suffered gunshot wounds. However, the cause of death cannot be confirmed until autopsy results are back from the Barron County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Detectives from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department with the assistance of the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and the WI State Patrol are currently investigating the scene.

There is no danger to the public.
