1 dead, 1 injured in head-on crash on Hwy. 70 in Pine Co.
ROYALTON TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KMSP) - A 42-year-old Cambridge, Minnesota woman was killed in a head-on crash on Highway 70 in Pine County Wednesday morning.
Around 10:05 a.m., a Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling westbound on Highway 70 near Elmcrest Avenue when it crossed the centerline and hit a Dodge Ram head-on.
The driver of the Pontiac was killed in the crash. Authorities have not released her identity.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 24-year-old Forest Lake woman, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
