The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has issued an allergy alert for a Kowalski’s brand spice blend that did not declare wheat as an ingredient on the label.

Kowalski’s announced the recall for its Kalbi Rub, sold in 5.5 oz. bottles, on July 13. No illnesses have been associated with the products, but people who have a sensitivity to wheat should be aware of aware that it is included in the spice rub.

The label has since been corrected.

Anyone with an allergy to wheat who purchased the Kalbi Rub from Kowalski’s should discard the product or return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
