(KMSP) - The Twin Cities metro saw its first flurries of the season Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service reported flurries in Chanhassen, Minnesota between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. and at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport at 5:15 a.m. There were also several other reports of flurries around the metro during the pre-dawn hours.
The earliest flurries on record at MSP Airport is Sept. 15.
