More scattered showers, storms arrive Monday, bringing flash flooding concerns
(FOX 9) - More scattered showers and storms are likely Monday with some flash flooding concerns in the morning. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until noon for much of the southern part of the state and west central Wisconsin, from the south metro to the Interstate 90 corridor.
Strong storms could reform later in the day. The strongest storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and localized areas of flash flooding.
Some roads have already had some flooding, including a mudslide across Highway 19 near Morton. The highway was closed between Morton and Franklin for a short time, but it has since reopened.

STORM DAMAGE IN METRO
Overnight storms caused some flash flooding in the Twin Cities metro. Video from FOX 9 viewer Jack Wiessenberger showed flooding on County Road 42 in Apple Valley.
FOX 9 has also received reports of trees down in Farmington.
In Bloomington, a lightning strike sparked a fire at a home on the 9600 block of Little Road. No one was injured, but the house was damaged by the lightning, according to the fire department.
