Vikings, Jaguars to hold joint training camp practices in Minnesota

The Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars will hold joint practices at the Vikings’ new Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, Minnesota prior to their preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 18, at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Both teams fell one win short of a Super Bowl appearance last year – the Vikings losing to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles and the Jaguars to the AFC champion New England Patriots.

The Vikings and Jaguars will practice together on Wednesday, Aug. 15, and Thursday, Aug. 16, at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. It marks the first time the Vikings have hosted another NFL team at training camp since 2007 when the Vikings welcomed the Kansas City Chiefs to Mankato.

The joint practices will be open to the public but will require reserved tickets available in advance on Vikings.com, which will be the case for all of Vikings training camp.

The 2018 Vikings training camp will kick off with rookies reporting on Tuesday, July 24, followed by veterans reporting on Friday, July 27.General admission tickets will be free, but fans must reserve tickets in advance.
