Minnesota Fringe Festival show tells story of Puerto Rico after hurricane

Nearly a year after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, storyteller Javier Morillo stops by Fox 9 to talk about his piece at the Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Through his solo storytelling show "Broken English, Mother Tongue," Morillo describes his experience growing up in Puerto Rico. During his childhood, Morillo crossed languages and cultures on U.S. military bases throughout the world.

Catch "Broken English, Mother Tongue" at the Mixed Blood Theater in Minneapolis at the following times:
