Harrison Phillips: Unscripted with Dawn Mitchell

This week on Unscripted with Dawn Mitchell, Dawn sits down with Vikings defensive tackle Harrison Phillips who is entering his third year with the Vikings. In 79 career games, Phillips has amassed 229 total tackles, 104 solo with 125 assists. He’s also registered six sacks and six plays defended. But there is so much more to “Horrible Harry” than his powerful play on the field. Phillips was the Vikings' nomination for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year Award last season. He is tireless when it comes to giving back. Harrison’s successful charity organization “Harrison’s Playmakers” is on a mission to cultivate strong families across Minnesota, helping them to become empowered in order to improve the health and quality of life for their children and families, especially youth dealing with special health care needs and disabilities. Phillips also talks to Dawn about the emotions of going back to his native Nebraska and helping with tornado relief efforts and what work needed to be done to help those in need. In this unscripted interview, Harrison Phillips shows he is extraordinary both on and off the gridiron.
