Officials: propane-fueled explosion may have started fatal house fire

One person has died and another person was injured in a house fire Tuesday morning outside Randolph, Minnesota.

According to the Dakota County sheriff's office, at 6:14 a.m., authorities responded to a fire at a home located on the 24000 block of Lewiston Boulevard in Hampton Township, Minn.

Responders found that one person died in the fire. Another person, identified as Brian Suilmann, was injured in the fire and was taken to the hospital. 

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim at a later date.

Officials are investigating the fire as a potential propane-fueled explosion.
