BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (FOX 9) - Brooklyn Park police say a missing 10-year-old boy has been found safe after an overnight search.

In a Wednesday night alert, police said the boy was missing in the area of Single Creek Drive and Hampshire Avenue in Brooklyn Park.
The details around the disappearance were unclear.
What's new?:
Around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, about 13 hours after the alert was issued the night before, police said the missing boy had been found safe.
"Thanks to an alert member of the public, the missing child was located safe and unharmed," police wrote. "He has been returned to his family."
