Wintry mix Wednesday night to turn to snow on Thursday

A Winter Storm Watch is taking effect Wednesday night all across central and southern Minnesota, which could mean snow for the Thursday morning commute.

Before the storm moves in, during the day people can still enjoy warm temperatures in the mid to high 30s.

In the Twin Cities, a wintry mix will take hold Wednesday night and change into snow Thursday morning with a gusty wind coming from the northwest.

The weather models are still fluctuating, so no definite snow totals yet, but be sure to plan for snow on Thursday.
