KMSP, Minneapolis - If you're wondering what happened to El Nino, look no farther than the Golden State. Who says it never rains in southern California! El Nino has aimed the jet stream straight at the southern part of the state resulting in one storm after another dropping record rains in the Los Angeles basin. Tuesday, LA saw record rainfall with 1.42" recorded at LAX. The crazy weather spawned numerous thunderstorms, a rare sight for southern California.
