Hot Talk: Mid-July is typically the Twin Cities hottest week of the year!

It’s the hottest week of the year for the Twin Cities and It appears that the heat will arrive right on schedule. The period of time from July 11 through July 19 contains a half dozen all time heat records for the Twin Cities including the hottest temperature,  the hottest heat index, the highest dew point, and the most 100 degree days to name a few.

The warmest average high and low temperatures for the metro are 84° and 65° respectively that will fall from July14-16.

After this week the average will trend cooler but we know that doesn't mean the mercury can’t surge forward again. However, if you hate the heat, then the worse will soon be behind you.
