A wonderfully pleasant weekend ahead!

We are in for one very nice weekend... In a time of year that can be plagued with heat and is typically over flowing with humidity, it will be nice to have sunshine and pleasant numbers. While getting into the lakes & swimming ponds aren't exactly going to be ideal, ANY other outdoor activity looks stunning with the high angled May sunshine and unusually low humidity levels. SO low in fact, that it may have sort of an April feel, but with the May sunshine.

So a cold front will push through the state on Friday, sparking showers and storms pretty much area wide. This will hold dewpoints well into the 60's, considered to be the humid or very humid category as seen below…

Just check out where dewpoints are likely to be during the afternoon Friday…

Pretty typical as we round out the month of May and head into June… but definitely uncomfortable. But the airmass moving in will originate in northern Canada, and while that may sound cold, the air is quite pleasant this time of year. Check out expected dewpoints on Saturday…

WOW… down into the 20's and 30's!! Those are March like numbers and well below even the comfortable level on our chart. That will make it feel incredibly nice over the weekend! But don't forget the sunscreen… the sun is very powerful this time of year despite what temperatures are doing… sunburns can still occur in about 30 minutes. Enjoy!!
