Minneapolis, KMSP - While we are enjoying a beautiful fall here in Minnesota, they are having a crazy spring in Australia. Severe storm rolled through Sydney on Friday dropping heavy rain and lots of penny sized hail. Check out the video above of that hailstorm in action. Over one inch of rain fell in less than 30 minutes resulting in flash flooding in isolated areas throughout the city.
The power was knocked out to about 5000 homes in the Sydney area as of late Friday. It’s a little bit backward in the southern hemisphere as the months of September, October and November are known as the transitional months between winter and summer, or in other words, spring. Its only getting hotter down under as it gets colder here in Minnesota.
