MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - How cold is it in Minnesota? #StupidCold is the very-scientific, go-to phrase of Fox 9 chief meteorologist Ian Leonard. Monday morning temperatures will be about -11 at 9 a.m. in Minneapolis-St. Paul, with a “feels like” temperature of -27. We will “warm up” to zero by 3 p.m. before dropping back to -7 by 9 p.m. Monday.
Many schools were already closed for the Martin Luther King holiday, but others closed due to cold weather. You can find a list of school closings at fox9.com/closings.
