Wrong-way driver killed in head-on crash on I-394 and 100

- A wrong-way driver was killed after striking another driver head-on along I-394 near Highway 100 early Monday morning.

According to Minnesota State Patrol officials:

Ronnell E. Ross , 30 , of Clarks Grove, Minn. was driving a Buick Century westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-394 at about 3:30 a.m. and struck Apple Valley, Minn. man Carlos R. Floersch, 46, in his Toyota 4Runner head-on.

Floersch was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he is in critical condition, his family told Fox 9. It’s unclear if alcohol was a factor as toxicology reports will not be complete for a couple of weeks. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and their airbags were deployed.
